This week’s Peeps into the Past sees us profile the often overlooked 2nd XV with a fine picture of captain Roy Tait, great stalwart of the Club, and his 2nd team, sometime at the end of the 1950s beginning of the 1960s, towards the end of Roy’s playing career.
Also prominent are Finlay Guy, Ian Glass and Jackie Campbell at the “mature end of the spectrum” whilst “young scrotes” Davy Leckie, Alan Hope and Raymond Smith, the latter looking literally still in short trousers, give a youthful look to the team.
Loving the knitted socks and the white boot laces.
